INERTIA is a hyper-realistic action movie from Gonzalo López Gallego, director of APOLLO 18 and the acclaimed KING OF THE HILL. Starring Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis, Drive, Agora) and Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In, Van Helsing), the film is produced by Jaume Collet-Serra (Unknown, Orphan).
What REC was to horror films, INERTIA will be to the action genre.
INERTIA is a frenetic action thriller that deals with survival in the most literal sense. Extreme in its conception of time and concentrated, agitated and disturbing in its portrayal of space. A story that never stops because it physically can’t, it can only keep moving forward. It is not fuelled by fireworks and false production values, but by pure drama.
And so in this way, breaking away from conventional narrative elements, INERTIA aims to shake the viewer, to make them vibrate, to feel the motor roaring as much as the protagonist. It’s a rollercoaster ride, a non-stop rocket trip full of unexpected ups and down and innovative visual language, thanks to the use of multiple cameras within all the cars which participate in the chase.
The cameras used are small-sized but with maximum resolution, the kind that are typically used for filming extreme sports, and allow us to capture images which are not often seen on the big screen. It is thanks to this that the audience will be able to experience a unique and total immersion.
It’s DUEL for the Play Station generation.

The driver flees the scene. The boy is very seriously injured. Burman calls an ambulance and then, without really thinking about it, hits the accelerator of his van to follow the car, which then speeds up to avoid being caught.
This turns out to be an everlasting day in which Burman will discover that nothing is as it seems and that behind what at first appears to be accidental, hides a intriguing mystery.
